2013 Texas State Championships

The High School Golf Scoreboard (HSGS) and Golfstat partnership had the honor of live scoring the state championships the past three years and bringing the Texas State Championships to the world via Golfstat, the provider of all NCAA results and live scoring. Recently, HSGS was informed by the UIL it was not selected to live score the 2013 championships. HSGS will publish the state championship scores on the website after each round of play as soon as we receive the results. HSGS is currently inputting many of the regional results across the state as coaches input the post season tournament results. Please remember HSGS will still receive any full tournament results from the fall or spring to enhance the data for the final 2012-13 season HSGS/Golfstat rankings and the selection of the All-State Teams. We encourage every coach, or approved booster parent, to submit any outstanding full-field tournament results online via the HSGS tournament module submission entry process.

Welcome to the 2012-’13 Season on High School Golf Scoreboard (HSGS). We look forward to working with you this season to promote your players, teams & schools via the world wide web...the age of technology! We recently hosted the first annual HSGS Links Coaches conference in San Antonio with over 85 coaches in attendance. We received great participation, feedback and excitement for the new season!

Who are we?

High School Golf Scoreboard was launched in the Fall of 2009 to provide national exposure for high school golf players, teams and coaches. Tournament rankings are provided by Golfstat, the same company who scores NCAA Golf. Members are able to create a personal profile to highlight their High School & Jr. Golf results as well as Academic and Extra-Curricular activities. This information will provide college golf coaches as well as college admissions & financial aid officers the opportunity to review each member's profile in the quest for an academic, leadership or athletic scholarship.

HSGS is now the largest ranking system in the country surpassing Jr. Golf Scoreboard and Golfweek. This is a testament to the leadership of the state coaches association (TAGC) and the involvement of coaches across the state getting involved to make Texas high school golf the most recognized golf state in the country.

We have been busy this summer implementing new improvements & upgrades to our system as a result of your feedback. These updates will help coaches better manage and update school/team page, post player rosters and submit tournament results.

HSGS has been working with the UIL to bring expanded recognition, exposure, and standardization to HS golf! Our website, in partnership with Golfstat, creates a universal system with high credibility to post tournament results and rankings to benefit every participant. We strive to provide increased opportunities for kids, and their parents, that may otherwise go un-tapped.
