School Spotlight: Johnson High

Johnson is a new school only in their second year in existence.  After rapid improvement in their inaugural season, the teams are excited and have post district play in their sites.  The program has doubled in size over the last year and their is a buzz about an exciting future.  The experience of returning lettermen combined with young talent is really lending towards a bright future.

Here’s a break-down of what the teams look like:

Boys:
Justin Judkins Sr. Captain - Greatly Improved - multiple top 5 finishes in TJGT Summer and Fall events.
Brandon Robertson, Phillip Cremeans, Pearson Grant, Ryan Caskey, and Preston Stein all returning lettermen, each had good summers.
Newcomers - Jake Judkins winner of his last two TJGT events and a top 5 finisher in multiple TJGT events leads the young talent.  Jake Goodman, Case Hollenbeck, and Jon Lucas all bring depth and excitement to the Johnson quest.

On paper the Jaguars certainly look like a force to be reckoned with but only time will tell how well this young squad will gel together. For more information on both the boys and girls golf programs visit http://tw.neisd.net/webpages/mmarti117/jaguargolf.cfm.
