Biography

I was born in San Antonio and named after my great grandfather's farm tractor out in Castroville, Texas,....Case tractor. Since my older sister, who is a freshman at U.T. Austin, name started with a "K", Kaleigh. My parents started my name with a K and added and n...Kasen. I am a freshman at Churchill High School. Being raised in San Antonio, and living around the corner from CHS, I had always looked forward to playing sports at Churchill. Not until 6th grade, after a golf camp, did I begin start thinking about putting up the football cleats and exchange them for golf cleats. I started both ways in 7th and 8th grade football and golf would take a back seat until the season was over. After 8th grade football I decided to set my goal to carry the Churchill golf bag all four years of high school. Fortunately, I was able to make this goal, so far, with the help of many people. I have now set some more goals, both short range and long range for myself and golf.

Academics

I am a sophomore at Churchill taking pre-AP courses. Besides the standard courses I am required to take, I am also taking sign language as my foreign language course. My aunt was born deaf and can read lips very well but I have found it both fun and rewarding being able to sign with her while the rest of the family tries to figure out what or who we are talking about. I am looking forward to my second season on the Churchill's golf team!
