Biography

I am a native of Texan raised outside the Dallas area in Wylie. I am the daughter of two physical education teachers. So, needless to say education and fitness are pretty big priorities in my house. Growing up I loved playing all sports. I excelled in soccer at the elementary level and once in junior high I was on the A team in volleyball and basketball. Also, tried my hand at pole vault, cross country and track.
None of these sports ever topped the feeling I get when I hit a golf ball. I have been at this game a while. First picked up a club at the age of 5 and won my first tournament at the age of 6. The rest is history or so they say.
In school I belong to Rachel's Challenge committee. This group meets and develops strategies to deter bullying in schools and encourages students to see the best in each other. At church I am a volunteer at Kid's Town which is a group of youth that help led the children's church service. Going on my first mission trip in mid July. Really anxious and excited about serving those that are less fortunate than myself. Speaking of giving back I have to mention that for about 4-5 years now I have participated in KidSwing. KidSwing is a kid's golf tournament that benefits children at Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas. Players raise their entry fee and donate it to the hospital. In turn patients get the care they need and are not charged a dime. Pretty cool concept!
My long term goals include playing golf at the collegiate level and earning a degree in a health or fitness related field. Beyond that would aspire to work hard on all aspects of my game to be the best I can be and secure a spot on the LPGA Tour.

*Member of the NTPGA since the age of 6. Won several tournaments through this tour.

* TJGT March 2010 3rd place at Kathy Whitworth Championship
* Legend's June 2010 2nd place in Junior PGA Championship Qualifier
* USGA Qualifier June 2010 1st alternate 3 strokes out of tying for 1st place
* Dallas City Junior Championship July 2010 1st place

* February 2011 Waterview Golf Course- Carded a 69 lowest round yet!
* April 2011 Twin Creeks Golf Course-District Tournament- 1st place in Medalist advance to Regionals with a 78-71
* April 2011 Robson Ranch- Regionals at Robson Ranch- 4th place and 3 strokes out of advancing to State 78-75
