Biography

Vincent took up the game of golf at age 4 (1999) by participating in a Jr Golf Camp at Winston Trails Golf Club in Lake Worth, FL. Dan Pesant head professional at Winston Trails Golf Club would have to be credited as the person that first put a golf club in his hands. Vincent exhibited a natural swing from day one and it was evident that he had God given abilities. Vincent continued the development of his golf swing under the instruction of Dan.

In 2000, at the age of 5, Vincent started to participate in golf tournaments for the first time. Vincent was a member of the Okeeheelee Junior Golf Foundation under the leadership of Bobby Brown. Bobby was a wonderful coach that loved working with the juniors and would have to be credited with teaching Vincent the fundamentals of the game of golf. He mentored Vincent in the etiquette and rules of golf as well as the many different aspects of the golf game.

In 2002, Vincent moved to McKinney, TX and became a member of the North Texas PGA Junior Golf Foundation. The NTPGA Junior Golf Program offered a very extensive tournament schedule with high level of competition. The NTPGA Junior golf program played a very important role and foundation in the development of Vincent’s competitive spirit. During this time Vincent worked with Rob Sanders golf professional with CORE golf school. Rob continued the development of Vincent’s golf swing and how to have fun with practice.

In 2003, Vincent was fortunate enough to be able to start working with Randy Smith, head professional at Royal Oaks CC in Dallas. Randy has played a major role in Vincent’s full swing development and success in competition. Randy has been there for Vincent when he was playing his best and his worst, he always seemed to know exactly how to correct the flaws in Vincent’s swing.

In 2007, Vincent started taking short game lessons from the head teaching professional at Lakewood Country Club, Pat O’Brien. Pat is dedicated to making sure that Vincent’s putting and chipping is as close to perfect as possible. As a result, putting and chipping has become Vincent’s strengths.

In 2010, Vincent started working with Cameron McCormick, the Director of Instruction at the historic Brook Hollow Golf Club in Dallas. Cameron instilled a strong work ethic and discipline into his practice routine propelling him to his greatest success in the summer of 2011 with four Top 10 finishes in five AJGA events, including two Top 5 and Champion of the Bob Estes Abilene Junior.
